Goodluck Jonathan New Year Message by ExAngel007(f): 9:11pm On Dec 31, 2016
My prayer for Nigeria in the year 2017 is that we continue to for greater ties across the length and breadth of this great nation to the end that we may achieve the Nigerian Dream: A nation where
the child of a nobody can become a somebody without knowing anybody.

A nation where your knowledge, talent and character affect your upward mobility rather than the fact of your tribe, religion or birth.

Such a Nigeria is possible if we all pitch in in word, action and prayer which I am sure we will do. I wish all Nigerians a very Happy New Year 2017. On behalf of my family and I, I congratulate you for making it into the New Year.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

GEJ.

Good for you. All the former military Heads of State and presidents too have tens of millions of supporters. Somebody's calling him "Attention seeker", because the dude's trying too hard to impress.

What's magnanimous about a thief who plundered a country so much so it inevitably ran into a recession? You people should stop this idiotic whitewashing. If the idiot had any honour or shame, he'd look for a rock and hide behind it for the rest of his stupid life.

The idiots that like his facebook page are the ones giving him the impression everyone is pleased with him. The only reason the fool even has the courage to show his face in public is because Buhari isnt living up to expectation.

He has impressed the world by conducting the most credible election in Nigeria, where he lost and handed over to his opponent. There is no bigger impression than that. it's an uncommon feat in Africa and elsewhere across the world. it takes a great man to do that

Honestly, the cost of not handing over far outweighs that of handing over.

Wasn't that tried also. What with the demonization of the electoral commission, the rejection of card reader, the shifting of the elections, the attempt to disrupt the result announcement, the threats by Dokubo & Co. that Jonathan had better win or there'd be no Nigeria, etc. Sometimes you'd got to surrender. Jonathan realized that he and everybody is safer not scuttling the process.
