Stop sounding stupid, Lagos gets most of her income from import activity and is therefore dependent on Nigeria's import apetite. What Lagos needs to do is to keep luring the likes of dangote refinery so that when importation of fuel stops, dangote will be pay tax that will help cover for import duty reduction.

And just listen to ur self How did you manage to be this dumb?

Okay now you blame Lagos from making judicious use of the seaport and run it properly? Or is the seaport a state property? or do we have only Lagos sea port in Nigeria?

And who cares were Dangote put his refinary? Or they told u it's only Dangote that can have refinary?

Just sit down dey look (eko oni baje)

or could it be because 80% of whatever goods dat comes in or out of Nigeria passes through Lagos because of the two seaports there making it the economic and commercial hub of de country?...

The port has nothing to do with Lagos state prosperity as the revenue from it goes to federal government,it took Fashola a legal work to secure wharf landing fees to Lagos state government which stipend of between 100 to 500 naira depending on the type on goods.

Imo state was not given. Maybe Rocha's said he doesn't need it in pretense to impress and give the impression he is managing well.
Meanwhile, why should the federal keep sharing money like this as if States are slaves. Well, same thing they do to the citizens, take their money and call them to file up while they share them tiny portion of the money in form of rice and #200.
Only in Nigeria will federal take all resources from all States and make the people pay high tax on what they make.
In US, States harvest their resources and everybody pay tax to FG.

The Federal Government has released N388.304 Billion to 17 States as part of the N522 Billion bail out funds approved by President Muhammadu Buhari for some states with Governor Ayo Fayose's Ekiti State omitted from the first batch.

Rivers State, Lagos, Delta and Akwa Ibom State tops the List of gainers.

See the list below.

why must you attach Fayose's name to your report, why make it personal, don't you just tell us that "Ekiti State "was emitted in the first batch?

I simply feel we could do better. Our economy and potential warrants better from Akwa Ibom. Yes oil is a part of it. Also better budgeting would help in my opinion.

Who would build their region for them?
When they cannot do the needed development when they controlled presidency.

What he should have done was massive development across the country.
Look, jonathan was not fit to be president. PDP failed nigeria.

Your arguement is sound because you intend to encourage governors like Fayose to get busy and stop relying on the Federal feeding bottle, unfortunately the post in your quote was a response to a different subject.
