WAEC 2017/2018 E-registration by Nobody: 11:02pm On Jan 09, 2017
We’re glad to inform the general public and all prospective WAEC candidates that the portal for the 2017/2018 WAEC e-Registration has been opened and as such, candidates can now register for their WAEC examinations online but has to be done through their school.

The WAEC 2017/2018 e-Registration website is very user friendly and easy to navigate through. Schools can now login to the portal and register their candidates for the forthcoming WAEC examination.

The WAEC e-Registration service makes registration easier for the schools and also eliminates errors in registration information which are hitherto made on paper and only detected while processing the paper forms by WAEC.

Documents such as Timetable, Syllabus and Registration Template for the examination can easily be printed or downloaded by the School Authorities from the WAEC 2017/2018 e-Registration portal.

WAEC 2017/2018 e-Registration – Procedure For Registration
We’ll talk about the whole registration process for the WAEC 2017/2018 e-Registration portal. If you follow the instructions carefully, you’ll be able to complete your WAEC 2017/2018 e-Registration without any hassles.

We’ll be covering the following details:
• Payment for the Examination
• Identification of School Principal/Examination officer (Sign up/Sign In)
• Registration of Candidates
• Reviewing/Editing candidate information
• Generation Examination Numbers
• Downloading of Information
• Offline Registration

WAEC 2017/2018 e-Registration – Payment For The Examination

For the payment of the WAEC 2017/2018 e-Registration fees, schools are expected to collect the approved registration fees from all their candidates and issue one bank draft in favour of The West African Examinations Council (WAEC). This cheque is paid at the WAEC Zonal/Branch Office in charge of their State. The designated WAEC Finance Officer in the Zonal/Branch Office enters information regarding the payment on his computer and issued the school a scratch card or pay voucher containing information to enable the Principal/Examination Officer sign up to the e-Registration Website.

However, to accommodate schools that may not have easy access to the internet in their locality and to make the online registration trouble-free, there is a provision for offline registration on their standalone PCs or through Business Centers in their locality. The CD-ROM containing this offline registration facility will be given to schools along with the pay voucher upon payment. This also means that schools could start registering their candidates as they collect entry fees from them.

This innovative App is used offline. No need for expensive internet connection Finally, a solution to the massive failure inJSCEWAEC, SSCE, NECO & JAMB exams is here! Over the year, abysmal performances have been recorded in our SSCE and JAMB examinations.
Within the last 10 years, the rate of failure in SSCE exams has been between 60%-70%, with many failing to obtain credit pass in Mathematics and English Language. This is not encouraging, especially for parents that have made huge investment and sacrifice to provide for their education. The reason for this massive failure is not farfetched. Students have abandoned the reading culture of ?burning the mid-night oil?. They are now seriously distracted by TV, and their smart phones. It is very difficult to get them read their physical books. They rather prefer to play with their phones.
So, having an application that enables them to read on their mobile devices is not only timely, but will also help to improve their performance in JSCE, SSCE & JAMB exams
HOW THE SECONDARY SCHOOL E-LEARNING APPLICATION WORKS
The secondary school E-learning application comes in a preloaded 8G memory card which is installed on mobile devices, computers, e-libraries. The student who installs it then registers as its user. To start using the application, he opens it to watch video lectures. For this, the student just sits down and observes a real classroom atmosphere teaching on his mobile device. This does not need the internet to operate, so it does not place any extra financial burden upon the student. As the teachings go on, the student has total control of his time and learning speed, a powerful tool which he has no control of in the classroom, for fear of looking dumb, by asking his teacher to repeat or slow down to enable him understand a new concept.
He can pause the lecture when he wants. If he is sent on an errand, he can stop the lecture and won?t miss anything. He can repeat a line of instruction if he so wishes. He can pick the subjects he finds most difficult in classroom and repeat the video tutorials as many times as he wants. The power of this approach is that the student no longer sees teaching and learning as one boring classroom exercise, but an exciting educational game which absolute control he has.
