El-Zakzaky's wife not in detention, merely keeping her husband's company — Presidency By Isiaka Wakili | Publish Date: Jan 19 2017 4:30PMThe Presidency has said that the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, cannot be released from detention because of public interest and security concerns, adding that El-Zakzaky''s wife is not in detention but merely keeping her husband''s company "in the apartment in which he is kept". The Presidency has said that the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, cannot be released from detention because of public interest and security concerns, adding that El-Zakzaky's wife is not in detention but merely keeping her husband's company "in the apartment in which he is kept". A top Presidency official who did not want to be named, disclosed this to State House correspondents on Thursday. According to him, the issue of the release of El-Zakzaky is not exclusively legal as it has security and public interest as against individual interest undertone. On the said detention of El-Zakzaky's wife along side her husband, the official explained that the wife was not of any security interests and therefore was merely keeping her husband's company "in the apartment in which he is kept. "She is not under detention. If it is her wish, that of her husband or of the IMAN, she will allowed to go home in a matter of hours," the official said. He explained that El-Zakzaky's wife was picked up by the Department of Security Services (DSS) beside her husband with bullet wounds following IMAN's encounter with the army. "They took her along with the husband, treated her wounds and allowed her to care for her husband. Upon his request on an occasion, the children joined them during Ramadan. That is what happened," the official said. http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/el-zakzaky-s-wife-not-in-detention-merely-keeping-her-husband-s-company--presidency/181591.html#RrIj2qvFqLk7PL68.99
On the said detention of El-Zakzaky's wife along side her husband, the official explained that the wife was not of any security interests and therefore was merely keeping her husband's company "in the apartment in which he is kept. JohnXcel: Such a view is exceedingly dangerous, extreme and fanatical. Is Buhari, Allah's prophet? Jammeh also believes God speaks to him and tells him when to give up power and when to change his mind to stay. North Korean leader believes, In fact, that the universe should worship him. He claims divinity to himself. George W. Bush claimed that God asked him to invade Iraq and overthrow Saddam and launch a crusade. And now we have God is holding Zakzaky through Buhari. In your view, God must really have lot of time to pay such big attention to Zakzaky and use soldiers to murder his six sons; when killing them in their sleeping would've caused a bigger uproar. When you abuse the name of God and claim the actions of fallible men are acts of God, you're attributing divinity to men and justifying evil and attributing it to God. In that way every evil can be justified as an act of God. Please stop. Whatever religion you follow, most likely Wahhabism, you should stop. There are many instances of evil that have befallen Muslims that can easily be claimed to be "punishment of God" too. Don't forget that Israel stole Palestinian land and kills them on behalf of God too! Some have even said the current economic recession is an act of God and we should pray!!! This line of thinking of attributing the actions of men to God can't be more ridiculous than it already sounds. Please stop it or else God will prove to you what is from Him and what really isn't!!! |
