The Trump transition committee, Great Again, has denied reports in some sections of the media in Nigeria that President-elect, Donald Trump has invited former President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria to the U.S for his inauguration as 45th Presidential inauguration scheduled for Friday in Washington.
An official of the Great Again Team said in Washington today, Thursday that the inauguration was mostly a domestic event for America.
“The US State Department has advised that as in the past, foreign delegations will not be invited to Washington for the President-elect, Trump’s 2017 inauguration and that heads of state and governments will be represented by chiefs of diplomatic missions in Washington,” the official said.
A U.S State Department official said that “The ‘Heads of Mission’ are the only foreign officially invited. It will be an historic few days!” He further confirmed that one invitation card has been sent to the Nigerian Mission in Washington, DC.
According to the Great Again official, Trump’s Presidential Inaugural Committee has raised a record $90 million-plus in private donations, far more than President Barack Obama’s two inaugural committees.
But while Trump has raised more money for his inauguration than any president in history, lead inaugural planner Tom Barrack said theTrump team wants to avoid a “circus-like atmosphere” in favor of a more “back to work” mindset.
He said only few foreign leaders were invited, which includes Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Canadian Prime Minister.

Trump's team didn't invite them as contained in your link.

"Strache disclosed his plans on his Facebook page on Tuesday morning (see below). In his statement, he mentioned that there was a high level of interest in his delegation's visit on the other side of the Atlantic, although not directly on the part of Donald Trump himself.
The invitation allegedly came from the US-Congressman from Iowa, Steve King, who is known for his ultraconservative views and strong support for Trump. "

Your response did not invalidate the falsehood contained in your "original claims".

Your so-called "Trump team" (whatever that means) is not the only body responsible for invitations to the inaugural and certainly would not have been the only body so "advised" by the States Department not to extend invitations to foreign dignitaries, if it were so.

As you may observe in the links below, Senators and Representatives are at liberty to extend invites to whomever they wish to attend the inauguration, including their constituents and friendly foreign dignitaries; as in the cases with the Israelis and the Australian cited above.

http://www.presidential-inauguration.com/

http://www.presidential-inauguration.com/getting-tickets/

Invitations were sent far and wide across the whole world, and not only by the "Trump team", so-called. The inauguration committee is mostly entirely constituted by senators and members of the congress.

Wait a second.. I don't actually get what you're driving at, are you still insisting Gej was invited?
Cos even Gej sent his message on his Facebook page.
This post simply seek to denounce the propaganda that Gej was invited - period!

You are attempting to run away from your shadow, it's futile.

You can do the world a favour by showing where "Gej" or whatever is mentioned.

You are not denouncing any propaganda, you are simply spreading falsehood with your mumbo jumbo.

If you want to denounce whatever propaganda, do it truthfully and inform the public correctly.

Foreign dignitaries were invited to Trump's inaugural as has been pointed to you, which is simply against your conjectures.

You've made a mistake
I thought I pasted enough sources with similar news above... So, where did you get all these personalizing.. you... You.

Please, get the facts right,
The PDP spokesperson tweeted that Gej was invited to Trump's inauguration.
As it turns out, Gej wasn't invited by anybody to the inauguration.

So, what's your point exactly?

The paranoia is needless.

You should be able to standby the contents of the links you posted as it were, otherwise there's no need posting them.

In an attempt to "denounce" the PDP guy's apparent false information, you went all the way to dig up reports containing untruths. The aspects of the reports which were inaccurate were highlighted and pointed out but you seem impervious to correction.

The links you provided didn't address Jonathan personally, instead it referred to a global scenario.

The so-called "Trump team" the report purportedly quoted said the inauguration invitation excluded foreign dignitaries; and there lies the controversy.

You wanted us to see that Jonathan couldn't even have been invited in the first place since invitations were not extended to foreign dignitaries as allegedly "advised" by the States Department. The falsehood of that statement is what is shown. Anyone could have been invited by any member of the congress from anywhere in the world.

Jonathan was not invited not because invitations were not extended to foreign dignitaries; he was just not invited, end of story!
