We Igbos don't easily forget any wrong done to us. Ikwerres have continued to insult Igbos at every slightest opportunity, but they forget that we now live in an information age when awareness is open to all. They have continued to build an animosity against we Igbos but they can be rest assured that by the time it is reciprocated in full measure, they won't be able to withstand it.

They are too insignificant for Igbos to lose sleep over but I think it is time we begin to cut them off in all Igbo affairs because they can't eat their cake and still have it.

If they're smart, they would have played it wisely. When the Itshekiri of Delta State faced annihilation under the Ijaws, they were forced to align with the Yorubas to stand any chance against the Ijaws. I wonder who the Ikwerres will go to when they face similar threat.

Nigeria has over 250 ethnic groups with three prominent ones, does Amaechi or any Ikwerre have any hope of becoming Nigeria's president on their own?

Igbos don't need Ikwerre for anything but they need us in so many areas. This animosity they are brewing will definitely hurt them someday.

Nothing is wrong because he is a Nigerian with Niger roots. Former President Yar'adua and entire Yar'adua family are not Nigerians by origin. Even President Buhari is from Futa Jalon by origin. Going by Wike's claim, he is originally from Edo State and shouldn't be Rivers Governor. Jagaban is originally from Osun but is regarded today as Godfather of Lagos. The list goes on and on. We should leave small countries like Liberia and Ghana to waste their time on these irrelevant issues not almighty Nigeria.

I doubt if you are Etche because as a Rivers man from Ikwerre, i know and have etchie friends who know their history which is not related to Igbo.

If you are truly etche then you’re a disgrace to etchie people. You went to the university in Lagos, instead of you to form your cultural group, you decided to join igbo cultural group. The etches in Rivers state universities do they have their own cultural group or join the igbos? Of course they have their own cultural group in Rivers state universities but yet you went to Lagos to betray your people that is why i doubt if you’re truly Etche.

Another thing is that, you lack true history. If you don’t know your history, then you don’t know where you come from, and that is your problem.

Ikwerre,Ekpeye, Ogba and Etche people are not Igbos and have never been Igbos.
