SirWere: Heyy bro, update your diary regularly, I love it! You're good writer! Have you ever considered being a poet and writer? |
Re: How Atheists Feel On Nairaland; Part Two by Nobody: 8:01pm On Jan 23, 2017 |
BaEnki:Wow, I'm touched bro. Thanks for the compliment. I am a bit lazy and a perfectionist so I almost never finish writing a story. As for being a poet; ...... I kinda hate poetry |
Re: How Atheists Feel On Nairaland; Part Two by BaEnki(m): 8:15pm On Jan 23, 2017 |
SirWere: Good standard you've set for yourself then, on my part, I'm not a perfectionist because I'm limited, aren't you limited in your perfection quest? I'm just learning poetry though! Wanna be a muse. |
Re: How Atheists Feel On Nairaland; Part Two by Nobody: 8:30pm On Jan 23, 2017 |
BaEnki:Of course, we are all limited to some degree, by virtue of money, intellect, opportunity and experiences. However, whenever I set out to do something; It's all or nothing : I make sure it is perfectly executed. When I work up the sweat to write, I want it to be golden. It's not really a good habit; I know. But one can't change one'sself, can he? A muse eh? Well, chick's dig poets. Or at least, so my friends say |
Re: How Atheists Feel On Nairaland; Part Two by BaEnki(m): 8:53pm On Jan 23, 2017 |
SirWere: You've got a good habit I'll say, setting a standard and attaining it is pretty good! Change?maybe we can change ourselves, though its a difficult process but I believe we can, in your case though, maybe you needs no change Concerning poetry, Yes your friends were right to some extent, more women are into poetry than men, but we've got many great poets that are men that the art will never forget. |

MizMyColi:There are victims of religion (most practices of religion are pernicious), it's the enlightenment the the atheists, bring to bear on their minds, that enables them to break off religious idiocy. It's advocacy kind of. |

hopefulLandlord:Those folks are pathetic. The question is this, with all their weird and foolish claims, of how their scarecrow can turn day to night, don't they still go through life challenges? There's one of their shepherd man, that has been boasting upandan, that he will live till 120 years before he dies. But i look at this deluded folk, he looks 80 years old now, when he's just in his early sixties. |

JackBizzle: Lol No I didn't. I have a daughter I'm taking care of full time, ATM. Surely you understand that it can be quite demanding. I am not one to banter words or argue online till my fingers begin to itch. I read your last reply. You were mostly grasping at straws and as usual, you gave off the usual vibe of militant atheism. I am not against any and everyone expressing their views. But while at it, try not to be condescending and denigratory. |
Re: How Atheists Feel On Nairaland; Part Two by MizMyColi(f): 12:11pm On Jan 24, 2017 |
akintom: Jackbizzle, these are the kind of youths you've inspired on Nairaland. Like you, because they feel they have no God to answer to, they are at Liberty to use puerile words and whatever form of negativity they choose in order to express their marginalization. If I were told I would never believe a day would come when I would say this, but hey, scratch that. Seu_n claims he is an atheist also. However, in the little time he has openly declared his views, he has won more over and even caused Christians and agnostics alike to question certain belief they hold dear. He somehow learnt to express himself without resorting to throwing tantrums and insults here and there. His Christian background must have taught him that Wisdom is profitable to direct. You should learn too. 3 Likes |

MizMyColi: You should follow your own advice. Stop being condescending. You tell me indirectly that I'm a miltant atheist You act like I am wasting my time on Nairaland as if you are my judge. There was no need to use your daughter as justification for your absence. We all have busy lives. 2 Likes |

MizMyColi: Lol....where in this thread did I throw a tantrum? Are you not condescending? You came into a funny fun thread, and see what you turned it into. Also, who told you that I inspired Akintom? Guess what? You are also assuming that Seun has touched more people with respect to religion on this forum than me. I hope you know what you are saying 2 Likes |

MizMyColi:What can possibly be more insulting and harassing to a man going through tough times, than a follower of some horrific and monstrous god idea, saying that such tough times were caused by the illusion called god. For your information, i owe my convictions to my personal discovery, made possible by hard and long hours of studies outside the destructive book called Bible. Over twenty years of my following in Christian religion, made my in depth knowing of how ridiculous that variant of Abrahamism is. The folks here, under whatever atheistic influence they write, were unknown to me, prior to my dumping religious idiocy in trash bin. In like manner of most apologists, you simply assumed too much. 1 Like |

JackBizzle:I'm sorry if my post sounds condescending to you. Whenever I speak with a very calm mien, some people think I'm being condescending...but that's not true. But Aren't you a militant atheist? How is my pointing out the obvious being condescending. I see you do not like it when folks serve you a taste of your own medicine (that's assuming I meant to be). No, dear Jack, I do not judge you. I actually admire you because you are brilliant and smart. This is me expressing myself in the hope that it helps you on your way to becoming a better person. Even if you came to NL before me, I think I have spent waaayyyy more time on Nairaland than you. So if there is anyone "wasting" their time, it should be me, not you. Someone once said that after you give birth to a child, there is no more YOU. If you go through my post history, you will find that I have been active since that day. But I figured you wouldn't see reasons with me so there was no need wasting precious time (then), to counter and discounter. It is actually an honorable thing to walk away from a seeming non-productive argument...instead of trying to force your views on another. Feeling this compulsive need to be seen as the right one when an argument ensues is a form of violence in itself. I don't want to be a violent person. No one should. |

akintom: perhaps you did not experience the power of God.... rather, you were just religious for over 21 years......you were just following. the same thing happened to me. i dumped religion for a long time....but some how the power of God located me. there is a spirit behind the Christian faith that we all cannot just grasp . |

urheme:I am in the know why you folks, are unconscious of how irritatingly assumptive you're. The chronic assumption syndrome, mutated the rational gene of the apologists, from the very day they embraced the religious jokes, and attach real emotions to them. What is Christianity if not religion? Didn't your nazarene commanded you to follow him? urheme:Meaning what exactly? A psychoanalysis of your journey, will reveal what you are oblivious of. urheme:The Spirit is called illusion and delusion (no insult intended). 1 Like |

akintom: let me try and digest your grammar before i understand your pains.....those irritatingly chronic syndrome you are trying to make us understand, are they sickness or diseases illusions aren't dangerous unless is an insane one..... i had rather stay deluded than vicious....it is better i unconsciously love your non existing imaginary being than to consciously irritatingly hate hate hate and it. (no insult intended)....i may as well unconsciously love you too. |

JackBizzle: is a choice...you don't have to tell them to establish your unbelief....beside, is non of their business. i believe you have challenges because you are argumentative and antagonistic....you just will not keep your mouth shot about it. urheme:Yes, those syndrome are tied to schizophrenia, delusion and hallucination. Check the list below: * when you still ascribe medical conditions to demon attack. * when Bishop oyedepo harassed and assaulted a young girl on delusionary accusation. * when Adeboye claimed a car was driven for kilometers without fuel * when TB Joshua claimed imaginary bomb attacked a building that had no approval. * when you folks go round molesting and dehumanizing children, in the name of catching witches eg Calabar saga etc urheme:When you're under the illusion of the above syndrome, insanity is the diagnosis. urheme:Choice is sometimes personal, but not always. Remember the deluded folk called Rev. King? He's on death roll. urheme:Your choice bro. urheme:As long as you can do that outside the prescription of your Jewish idols. 1 Like |
