She was in hysteria when she narrated this ugly story to me. It's this mid-nite call something. Her husband had tapped her twice on the body to ensure she was asleep, she pretended tho because she's always wondered why her husband rushes off to the loo after midnight. That fateful nite she sneaked up on him and clearly heard him explaining to another woman that he(the man) has not really been cheating on her, that's her girlfriend. Wow! He broke into all form of apologies when she(the wife)bumped into him. How would u handle this if u were her? Help me talk to her, I've done my best.

Well technically, the hubby is right. . . He's not cheating on the girlfriend. Lucky girlfriend, poor wife.

Seriously though, what can she do? We can all talk and talk until we are blue in the face about how she should leave him, she should do this, she should do that but we all know she'll end up doing what all the other naija women with cheating husbands have done in the past. . .

She'll cry and cry, beg him to tell her where she went wrong and how she can correct a mistake she didn't make. She'll turn herself inside out trying to please him and drive herself crazy wondering if he's with another woman everytime he leaves the house. Her self esteem will plummet, she gain lots of weight, age faster than bananas in a dark room and he'll eventually leave her bcoz she's become a shadow of her former self.

So I suggest stop wasting our time and skip to the part where we start helping build her self esteem and telling her he didn't deserve her in the first place and oh she needn't worry coz she'll find someone who will love her forever.
