Singer Tekno last week said his love for actress Genevieve Nnaji is never going to die.
Apparently, he meant it. Tekno, who turns 24 in December has now released a painting he did in honor of the love of his life, Genevieve Nnanji who turns 38 next year.

Earlier today, we reported singer 9ice , was set on releasing his 8th studio album come December.
The ‘Economy’ crooner, who also revealed that the new album, was his way of honoring his friend/producer, ID Cabasa, actually did name the project after the latter, ‘ID Cabasa.’

He wants to reap where he did not sow

An amateur cartoonist is facing up to 25 years in prison after falsely claiming Hollywood producers stole his idea for Kung Fu Panda.
Jayme Gordon filed a $12m (£9.7m) claim against the DreamWorks studio, alleging it based the 2008 animated feature on drawings he created nine years earlier.
While prosecutors accepted there were superficial similarities between the drawings, they claimed the 51-year-old from Massachusetts fabricated part of his story and backdated sketches he copied from Disney characters to strengthen his case.
In 1999 Gordon registered a number of drawings with the US Copyright Office of a “serious, mature” giant panda character called Kid and his “playful, mischievous” sidekick, Red. His called his picture stories Panda Power.

But after seeing a trailer for DreamWorks’ Kung Fu Panda in 2008, Gordon revised his drawings and character descriptions and re-registered them as Kung Fu Panda Power, a month before the film’s release.
He changed Kid’s appearance to that of a kung fu master and he re-wrote the description for both characters to match those of Po and Master Shifu in the film.
Kid was subsequently described as “immature” while Red became more serious and in 2011 he filed a lawsuit against DreamWorks for breach of copyright.
But he abruptly withdrew his claim two years later after DreamWorks confronted him with evidence that the original panda characters he claimed he sketched in 1992 had actually been traced from a Disney Lion King colouring book first released in 1996.
By then, the company had spent $3m (£2.4m) defending itself against the claim.
A federal jury convicted Gordon on four counts of wire fraud and three counts of perjury, ruling that, beyond what were superficial similarities, his original Panda Power characters and story had little in common with Kung Fu Panda.
Gordon will be sentenced on 30 March 2017.

84 undergraduates of the Lagos state University LASU have been sanctioned for improper dressing.
A letter from the school’s dean of Student Affairs DSA, shows that eight of those that have been sanctioned are final year students, 43 are in 100level, 20 in 200level and three in 300level.
24 of the sanctioned students are in faculty of Management Science, 18 from faculty of sciences, faculty of Education and Social Sciences were recorded as 11 students each and the faculty of communication has four students.

YBNL vocalist, Adekunle Gold yesterday, 18th, of July, 2016, surfaced with the final date of Gold , an album which only features one. Gold according to the artiste is set to drop on 28th of this month. Reports also has it that after the drop of ” Gold ” Kunle may leave YBNL Nation to focus on his own label, joining his counterpart Lil Kesh.
Kunle has since been with YBNL records from 2015, after he made his debut on the music scene in 2014 with ‘ Sade ‘ . Even since, the artiste has been dropping hits tracks back-to-back… With his perfect works on Sade, Orente, and Pick Up, Gold is definitely going be a BOMB.

Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and one time Minister of Transportation, Ojo Maduekwe, has died. He died today June 29th. He was aged 71. He was appointed Foreign Minister of Nigeria on July 26, 2007 by President Umaru Yar’Adua and was made Minister of Transport by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2001. May his soul rest in peace Amen.
