The Facebook user blasted women who think attachment is a sin but go ahead to use wool to make their hair! Is wool not an attachment? What do you think guys?

SOURCE: http://www.chuzzyblog.com/2017/02/lady-mocks-women-who-think-attachment.html

Strictly speaking, "attachment" (in this context) would refer to anything whatsoever that you fix on/to your hair, in the quest of making it more appealing to the eyes.

Based on this definition, even thread can be classified as an attachment.

nahhh you are probably insulting yourself. attachment is "attaching" something which could be anything to your natural hair. and we have different types and kinds of attachments. we have the "rubber", wool, weave and generally any extension what so ever. so the person is making perfect sense.

that was how one woman was telling me that i need to stop braiding my hair.., this is a person who used like 15 rubber to make her hair angry, i then told her "but you have something attached to your hair too", she said "no, God for bid' so i asked her that "the rubber you used in making your hair, were you born with it or you attached it?" that was how she said i don't have respect

anything you add to your natural hair is called attaching... simple English. is just like me wearing a dress and another wearing a top and a shirt. we are both clothed just in different forms

you didn't answer my question, did we copy braids from white women too since you think we are trying to be like white women. Braids have been used by Africans since the days of our fore fathers, our grand mothers whom you are saying never used attachment used to thread their hair with wool or rubber thread which is also an attachment so hair beautification by women didn't start today and won't end today. It has absolutely nothing to do with inferiority complex, it is a fashion thing. Do you cut your hair, don't you have hair cut styles? why don't you leave your hair like that since you are all about being natural.

Besides I don't see any relationship between weaves and the wearer's state of mind! undecided

sir, there are synthetic fibres, which are different from human hair. Anything you use on your hair ( 'attach' to your hair) that isn't your hair is 'attachment'. Hence, wool and thread are attachment.
