Some Nigerian yeyebrities namely; Davido, Burna boy, Mercy Aigbe, Charlie Oputa (even Charlieboy), Davido, Runtown and their likes took to the street of major cities in Nigeria to protest against the current tough times (economist described as economic Recession), occasioned by both Misappropriation of resources, but more impotantly by Time and Season.
They all forget in a hurry how much they have contributed to the 'Moral Reccesion' the Nation is experiencing currently.
These yeyebrities have taught the society especially the youths; ungodliness, pride, disrespect, show off, lust, nudity, fornication, indecent dressing, drug abuse, smoking, partying, alcoholism, jamborees, fake-life and other dangerous intoxicants to other social vices.
Maybe, they have not been told by their conscience and people around them, how badly they have damaged and disludged morality, norms and cultural values in the society and how many young lifes they have destroyed with their lyrics, modelling, lifestyles and music videos.
Who will protest against these YEYEbrities for doing much more harm than good to the society especially the youths, the leaders of tomorrow in terms if motality? Who?
Maybe these saner youths as well as other well meaning Nigerians.
For me, i strongly recommend the 'protest' against these yeyebrities for the 'Moral Reccession' in the society, since in the long run, it will keep Economic Recession at bay.
