It happened yesterday at Iwaro-oka, Akoko South West LG, Ondo State where an airforce officer in company of his two friends stormed a patent medicine store asking for someone. Unfortunately the Corp member named Michael who was sick at that time told them that he don't know the person but they could check inside, this answer angered the two men accompanying the officer and they started beating him mercilessly until he ran away. Some good Samaritans begged the airforce officer to intervene but instead he withdrew his belt and pursued the fleeing corper and another round of merciless beating started till he collapsed and became unconscious with serious injuries on different parts of his body. The attention of our LGI was drawn who quickly alerted the State Coordinator and a detachment of Soldiers was sent from camp and the force man was arrested but the two other culprits are now at large. He has since been handed over to the police and an investigation is going on. But we are now under pressure from the community elders to forgive because the airforce man joined the military only five years ago and came back home for the first time. Please help us circulate it so that it receive the widest publicity and see that justice is done.
