Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

The word of God is eternal. Whether we believe it or not, EVERY word that comes out of God's mouth will be accomplished sooner or later.

The BIble is not just an ordinary book; it is not just any type of literature- the Bible is full of God's promises to us- chief among is eternal life.

When we understand that GOD CANNOT LIE; standing on His promises by FAITH can change our lives forever. Sadly many christians today are too spiritually lazy to stand faithfully on God's promises for them. Some do for sometime and give up when they feel God is taking too much time to fulfill His promises.

Many of us forget that Abraham waited patiently for years in faith before he got his promised child Isaac. No, it was not automatic- he waited for the living God who can't lie to fulfill his promise.

It takes two things to reveive ANY promise from God: FAITH AND PATIENCE. God is no magician: He performs miracles but we can't hurry or rush Him. However, our faith pleases God and moves Him to act on our behalf. Many so many youths , because of lack of faith and patience in God, move over to the devil for tempoary but destructive benefits.

I write this to encourage the body of christ in Nigeria not to give up on God in this seemingly worsening economy. Believe God's promises in his WORD; stand on it in faith- confess it over your life by faith- pray it to God by faith and your miracles will come in due season as you wait patiently.
