Yesterday, the Nigeria police force Abia state paraded suspected armed robbers, kidnappers, assassins and many other suspected society misfits at the police headquarters Bende road Umuahia. The combined efforts of the Abia state governor Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and the fearless, ebullient and intelligent Abia state commissioner of police Leye Oyebade has drastically reduced crime and many other criminal activities in Abia state. While we thank them for their efforts to protect the state, we still ask for more, believing that in no distant time, we will have a crime free Abia state.
