Outrage in Jos as one of her popular markets, Chobe got demolished by some unknown individuals.

JTownConnect Metro gathered that, the demolition took place during the hours of 8am on Saturday morning which happened to be sanitation day in the state. When the market men and women came out around 9am to to resume their daily business activities, only to find out that their shops has been demolished.

An eye witness also told our correspondent that the individuals came with some fake Police officials with guns who stopped the security men from intervening till every demolition was completed.

Investigations are still been carried to fish out the people behind this act.

Eyaa chobe junction. Very popular area. It must have been a government sanctioned demolition. I seriously doubt anyone can just get bulldozer and start pulling down structures without interference. The fake police with guns story doesn't wash.
