Wow! Just one of that can change someone's miserable life somewhere. I wish they could distribute them to the very less privileged. It will be better than burning and destroying them. I am sad. 28 Likes |

grayht: 1) We call something inventory. When ever the motor cycle is seized they take record of it . The seized motorcycle is seized under the Lagos transport law. It's legal in the face of the law Don't just criticize for fun or been ignorant of what you are talking about Finally ask kanu he's passing through hell in kuje prison for calling our great country zoo 94 Likes 7 Shares |

yaqq: Most of the state's in the country banned motorcycle for commercial use due to rate of accidents and crime rate Secondly I don't see motorcycle as empowerment scheme for our youth The motorcycle should be recycled for better use. 29 Likes |

Does this even make any sense? Some states still need this mode of transportation, why not auction the bikes to them? Nigeria doesn't even manufacture these motorcycles, yet Lagos wants to recycle 4000 of them. To produce what precisely? Tables and chairs? I'm sure Ambode cannot be that silly to make a decision like that. Even people residing in hinterlands within Lagos still need this mode of transportation to move around. 3 Likes |

The reason I don't have any respect left for celebs, NGOs and Activism in Nigeria. Let's start with Charly Boy since he is the "Area Father" he ws quick to jump on 2baba protest. Ladies and Gentlemen just watch if you will hear one word from him on this matter. No 2. A lot of those bikes have contributed to some people becoming stars in Lagos. They have been conveyed by some of those bikes at one time or the other. It's easy to jump on 2baba protest but you won't hear them talk of this one becouse it won't give them the desired milage they want. This bike crushing issue should attract a bigger protest from activists than the 2bab or NLC protests. How can we just crush what can be used to transform very mny rural communities in Nigeria? Auction the bikes to the various agrarian communities around the southwest. Places where bikes are seen as the major transportion for people and farm produce nd use the money generated to support the health needs of members of the former Okada riders association who got injured and need help when Okada wasn't outlawed. I know some who still are in local orthopedic and even in hospitals needing help. By giving them the money, it justifies it. The bikes will be contributing to lives and the economy, while the former owners or their sick friends will benefit. How did some people get their degrees in this country? 14 Likes |

Why not have them shipped to other countries where they are allowed why destroy something that was painstakingly aquired by the poor. That's being wasteful if you ask me 2 Likes |

This is another form of stealing. God! I know u see them, our government steals. They use law as a disguise. Why didn't they impose a law that will stop the owners/perpetrators bad act and also give them the opportunity to sell the parts since they won't allow them to use it again. Now they forcefully collected it and call it "government properties " |
