Please I need urgent advise.
I applied to attend a seminar in Las Vegas but could not make it in December due to work pressure.
Now, I am set to attend another in Atlanta organised by same Establishment but different subject matter.
Someone said I must first visit the location or state indicated in my visa application?
Pls advise urgently.

As @seyewest said. you are good to go. just have relevant documents and accommodation.

be ready to answer if asked why you didn't attend the first conference.

yh. I’m thinking the stop over is gonna be too long. Thinking of visiting some Eiffel Tower in Paris during the long lay over. Or I can’t leave the airport?

Bro in France without Schengen Visa you can't leave the airport oo.

those stop overs ate pretty long.

are there no flights with less stop over.

I recommend the middle-east and Ethiopia, if you are looking for flights with a long stopover.

Hello house, I will be travelling in a matter of days to the US. Visa is B1 B2, Port of entry is JFK, and I already booked an hotel though different from the one I used when applying. My question is that, is it compulsory that I use the hotel on my application and also am I free to travel out of New york just for sight seeing?

That's $150 extra on visa.

You can use another hotel and you're free to visit other states.

Pls how else can I take money with me.
I have a Bank of America card but it’s virgin and don’t want to credit it now and on arrival , they will use tax to finish it or is there a way I can use it and have my money in tact. I plan to carry $9,500 cash and the balance of my budget on card . Someone advised I put the balance in my dom acct that I can withdraw it from Usa.
Do I need to get another card for the dom account? I’m going for baby delivery and declared that at Interview

If it's for delivery you can carry as much fund as you want all you need to do is declare it since it's more than $10,000 and it will make your entry easy when they see the cash since you're going for delivery. My advice is to carry as much as possible with you to show them you're capable of paying for your medical cost.
Good luck and safe journey.

Pls I just got my visa but plan to change my destination.
I used a correspondence from a rented accommodation in Houston and a corespondence from a doctor in Houston that gave me an appointment (i declared that I’m going for child birth- my first visit) for my interview and declared I have no family there in my application , the accommodation and hospital refused prepayment anyways but
just got connected to a family friend who has offered accommodation in Georgia .
To reduce cost I don’t mind the offer.
I plan to carry $9500 cash and the rest in card, will that suffice to prove I can self pay when I change location?
What documents would I require from my new host for POe?
What should I prepare for?
I’m reaching another doctor for an appointment correspondence in Georgia?
What should I expect?
How do I handle poe to avoid issues pls

For our POE experience, we flew Delta to Texas via Atlanta. The flight was quite long but also enjoyable. The only beef I had with them was that they refused checking in our palm oil. DW had to donate it to a willing and cheerful recipient.

At the boarding gate, there was a little boy of about 3 years who dashed us one piece each of his caramel popcorn. Was impressed by his generosity to strangers but whenever I stopped toying with my phone to look at him he would scream "no more!" It became apparent he thought we were begging him by looking at him. I tried to explain to him that we don't want any more and he seemed pacified.

Upon arrival at Atlanta we were hurriedly ushered into the the line. Which was quite long. We stood on the line for almost an hour. We kept hearing "Escort To XX". The passport of the traveler will be placed in a transparent folder and handed to the escort. Two of una go Waka together commot.

An extra CBP officer resumed and it made the line go faster. We landed on the freshly resumed Officer:

US: Good morning
CBPO: Good morning. *stretches out hand to receive our passports*
CBPO: Where is your final destination in the United states?
ME: Texas
CBPO: Who lives in Texas?
ME: We will be visiting my sister.
CBPO: When last did you visit Texas?
ME: *Slight brain fog so turns to wifey* Probably the cold got to my head.
DW: About two years ago.
CBPO: And how long did you stay the last time?
ME: 3 Weeks.
CBPO: And how long are you staying this time.
ME: 3 weeks and 3 days.
CBPO: Did you bring any food?
ME: *Turns to wifey again*
DW: Vegetables. Garri. Beans.
ME: Basically our local food items.
CBPO: Turns to DW and asks her to place her fingers on the scanner. Stamps her passport. Then asks me to do same and stamps mine.
CBPO: Enjoy your vacation.
US: Thank you!

Retrieved our bags and headed towards Delta Air kiosk to check in our bags. One of the ladies picked one bag up and screamed about the weight while laughing. The other asked, in American accent, if we've got foofoo in the bag. We laughed and said no. She shook her disapprovingly and said ya'll better come with some foofoo next time ya hear me? We said okay o.

Headed to security check in and met the same 3 year old boy on the queue with his parents. He pointed at me and started saying things I couldn't comprehend. His mum asked me to quickly get behind him so that he would calm down upon losing sight of me.

At our destination the cab driver complained that where we were headed was quite close to the airport and that he's been waiting for hours only to land an $8 trip. Went on about how he was going to survive with $8 a trip. I was like oga, nor be awa fault o. We sha dashed him extra $7 so that he can join our happiness to have finally arrived safely after a long flight.

I see no problem... if you have genuine reason for changing your destination all you need to do is explain clearly why you're no longer visiting Florida.

My greetings to the house and all the good advisors and particularly to seyewest. I will like to share my experience at the Poe in Chicago O'Hare International airport. I actually got my B1/B2 visa in June last year but couldn't travel until January 21st 2018. I travelled with Turkish Airline from Abuja. The flight was smooth though we stayed about 6 hours in turkey before we could connect to Chicago. The flight from Turkey was 11 hours 44 mins. The flight was packed full with Arab people, I was initially scared if that plane will get to Chicago safely before of the fierce looking guys on board. We did arrived Chicago safely. It tooke another 40 mins to get to the CBP officer for my clearance because of the crowed. The questions goes rhus:

CBP: your passport please
Me: presented the passport
CBP: what are you doing in the United States
Me: visiting
CBP: where are you visiting.in the United States
Me: Chicago
CBP: where are you staying during your trip
Me: will be staying with my cousin
CBP: how long are you staying
Me: 3 weeks
CBP: can I have your custom form
Me: pass it over
CBP: please place your 4 fingers on the machine
Me: did same
CBP: face the camera please and remove your glasses
Me: I did as instructed...
CBP: welcome to the United States
Me: thank you...... He then stamped my passport for six months. I'm enjoying my stay here but the cold is much.

POE: JFK Terminal 4.
After self-filled questionnaire at one of those computer kiosks, I was directed to the queue for those with print outs marked with 'X' or 'O'. (I had selected that I was carrying food, as I had a packet of coffee and some sweets.) Then, it was soon my turn with the CBP.

Me: Good morning.
O: Good morning.
O: Are you here for business.
Me: I am only passing through, I am flying out tomorrow.
O: Where is your final destination.
Me: Nigeria.
O: How long are you staying.
Me: One day.
O: You indicated you are carrying foods. (looking like "why"wink
Me: Yes, I have some coffee and candy.
O:.. Stamps me in. (looking like "move on fast, next!"wink
Me: Thank you

I then went to collect my bag and went past the meet/greet area to keep my big bag in the 24 hours luggage storage (just $11 for 24 hours. It saved me need for taxis to and from the airport, and made it easy for me to run around NY for one day & night).

@OgaSeye, Kudos, keep up the good work.
