This is so wrong- we are slaves to certificates in this country. Alex Ferguson a high school dropout lectures at Harvard Business School. Ditto for Zuckerberg. John Legend and Kanye West are visiting professors. This is because those systems recognize that value is not obtained by certificates. If the only reason for this disciplinary action is the lack of certification and not just incompetence then the Governor has no business in that office. The proper thing to do is confirm that they are competent and then allow them to take the necessary certification exams. Otherwise all the State's investments in back-pay have been lost. Same goes for any talented teacher among them.
