They are not in the class of Hameed Ali. This system would have been working well with more of Hameed Alis.

That said, DG Customs has done very well. While you are suffering in town, rice and poultry farmers are smiling to the bank.

We would rather pay duties to Benin Republic and then cheat ourselves by smuggling items into Nigeria. Now someone has the courage to correct that anomaly and Senate, which shd be protecting our economy, is working against it.
