Green Africa Airways, a Lagos-based airline start-up, is commencing its Air Operating Certificate (AOC) process.

This marks another major step for the new airline which received an Air Transport License (ATL) from the Nigerian Government last year.

In an exclusive press release issued to PageOne.ng, Mr. Babawande Afolabi, founder and CEO of Green Africa Airways said, “Our vision is to make safe and quality air travel profitably accessible to as many Nigerians as possible. Embarking on our AOC process – the last regulatory requirement before our inaugural flight – brings us much closer to realizing this vision.”
