[size=14pt]RCCG plans 72 hours prayer for Africa[/size]

Worried by the level of religious and economic decadence in Africa , Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), in collaboration with an international prayer group has perfected plans to embark on three days prayer session for Africa.



The 72 hours prayer, billed to hold in South Africa, during the Easter celebration in 2010, according to the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, would be a gathering of great men of God on the Africa continent.

Speaking at the ongoing Holy Ghost congress of the church, Pastor Adeboye, referred to the recent gathering of Bishops from all over the world, at the Redeemed Camp, where it was prophesied that what God had done in Africa was just a “whisper” that Africans should expect “thunders”.

“ Nigeria will be the trigger for revival in Africa, while South Africa will be the nozzle. The time of God’s glory to shine in Africa has come. Church leaders should encourage their followers to stop looking else where Jesus is the only door to our expectation in Africa ”, he stressed.

It was encomium galore on the second night of the congress, when Pastor Williams F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, was sighted inside the auditorium, as announced by Pastor Adeboye the previous night.

Mounting the podium shortly after Pastor Kumuyi had delivered the opening message on Tuesday night, Pastor Adeboye disclosed that since the commencement of the programme on Monday, four children-three boys and a girl- had been delivered at the camp.
