They were Hypocrites and full of iniquity.

They had convoluted arguments that twisted The Law, creating ARBITRARY EXCEPTIONS, to justify BREAKING THE LAW.

They found reasons for killing people, then, after they were dead, THEY would have SHARED THEIR STUFF.
