That will be my first suggestion after the wedding, and this is how it will be, we will arrive at a certain amount that we will be putting there each from our monthly salary/earning not that we will transfer all the money we have in there. Joint account helps esp for the children's sake. No ATM for such account.

Talking about saving in a bank for years,i know it not an investment,we are just putting it there for a period of that time and when it's complete,we take our money and invest into something that will generate more money.........
Buying of estate and company shares those are investment right even our kids

I love testing people and watching them act or react, I've tried this a lot and the results are always similar, initially when I start dating a girl I tell them that 10% of my salary is what I earn and their expenditure or expectations are within a range but after a while I just tell the I got a raise and tell them my original salary and bam! a lot if reactions. If she used to appreciate a 10k gift she will now see it as shitt after she got the new info, demands increase like hell, baby buy this and that increases, they automatically believe you have to start getting them or giving them extra paper or even 90% extra since your cheese got 90% bigger.
