You don't want to enjoy your thread right Mind the shithole you call state, we all know the reasons why those industries were sited in Ogun, it's because of no man's land , comparing Anambra and Ogun it's absurd, Anambra is 4th largest economy after Lagos, Rivers and Abuja, how many of the industries in Ogun are owned by Yorubas, I will give you five industries open by Igbo men just this year in Anambra, Anambra most indigenous industrialized in Nigeria
Child of hate calling lagos a no man's land...you have problem with your esteem...when you gain your biafra and the yorubas gain there oduduwa republic, lets see may be you would take lagos along with you..its so obvious you are a tribalist and because no where in the east can be campared to lapos..lagos belongs to the yorubas and would remain so,God bless lagos,God bless south west,God bless sensible,God-fearing,non-tribalist easterners and God bless naija

But i heard that amosun is'nt working, at least investors aren't attracted to place with unfavorable government policy and detering infrastructure. Maybe Amosun is actually working.grin

You have every right to dream and assume things. It's one thing to attract foreign investors and it's another things to make judicious use of it. But what do we have?
A complete rogue and a certified fraudster as a governor. There is no meaningful impact of all these on the subjects.
From lagos to sagamu, there's no physical physical presence of this government. The communities along has no state government presence, no decent police state along this place, no police presence along this road, no major hospital until you get to Sagamu. Is this what democracy is all about?
The communities along Lagos/Ibadan expressway has no decent Road, they have no witness electricity light/power for almost a decade.
From Berger to Alausa down to Iyana Oworo to 3rd main land bridge you'll witness police presence and traffic controllers, what do you have in Ogun state despite the so called Foreign investment ?
Nothing to show for it. We need a visionary focused leader in Ogun state. Someone who can translate and transform all these investment into something worthwhile to its people.

For me, the only visible project I have seen this man achieved is the cap he mounts on his head, no other visible project. The ideal of 5 lanes from Sagamu roundabouts to Abeokuta governors office is a fraud. He has no business with federal project when he cannot manage the state's project. 67billion naira for road expansion is questionable. And it should be probed either now or once he leaves office.

People like Amosun makes Ogun still underdeveloped despite its huge enormous resources and potentials.

The yorubas and the British colonialists are the economic beneficiaries of SE/SS sufferings and resources being pillaged by northern oligarchy made up of hausa/fulani. Britain must always release this sort of propaganda to make the yorubas feel good and see reasons to keep on assisting in keeping their "factory" called nigeria one.
look for a lagoon around you & swim in it to the British to lay your complain .

I'm sorry but you come across as being pained by this news. Why? The envoy was clear in her submission. If you have contrary data to prove her wrong do you care to share it with us?

This news does not excite me per se. The UK envoy just stated the obvious. On the flip side, this is one out of the many other reasons why I will continue to insist that the Yoruba nation breaks away from Nigeria ...... 75% of the FDI's in this country finds its way to Ogun state. Taxes and royalties are paid, but a large chunk goes to the federation account while Ogun State get peanut in return. Now imagine an independent Yoruba country where Ogun and her sister Yoruba States alone, enjoys the full fiscal benefit of the FDI's situated therein. Ditto Lagos

We are working and coming close bro, just be patient.

Poor Anambra with no commissioned projects beyond the same falling apart village bridge?

Ogun states budget is 2x more than poor anambra's budget so who should be borrowing money from who?

It's clear a lot of bitter losers from across the Niger are not happy by this British envoy's statement. Na the usual jealousy and nothing more. I am sure that by now they must have bombarded the British high commission in protest against their rep's statement. cheesy. Well, it's to be expected because success breeds jealousy and envy from losers who aren't favored enough by the heavens.

The Ogun state government still has a lot of work to do, but kudos to them for their efforts in positioning the state as Nigeria's preferred FDI destination, sotay even foreign missions are attesting to it.

Who God has blessed, no man can curse. In Oshiomole's voice: Haters GO AND DIE!

What the heck is wrong with this block-head governor? They offered you agric partnership and you requested for other areas. Yet you ask for help with economic diversification.

How else should Nigeria diversify if not through agric?
