though I think GEJ shouldn't have been so explicit, the fact remains that most people who knock him for that comment do so out of ignorance.

he clarified that it was a former Chief Justice that made that statement because the word corruption is too vague & a court cannot sentence you for 'corruption', but for a specific offence(s).

so, rather than say 'corruption', say the person 'stole', in order words, call a thief, a thief; call stealing, stealing & not corrupt which is too vague & does not address the issue.

he further explained that when a thief is caught, you do not say he was caught for corruption, it would rather be said that the person was caught 'stealing'...

but I guess the damage had been done & it would always remain a black mark for GEJ.

Will the propagandists ever listen to you? They are only interested in rubbishing the image of all good leaders in this country.

It's just so sad that the rule of law has been bastardised in Nigeria, if not, Buhari would be called to produce his waec result and failure to do that will automatically mean he would step down and jailed for violating the constitution of the nation. In a saner clime, Buhari should be in jail right now.

Notwithstanding the excellent performance his leadership quality is poor.

He faced high level ethno-religious oppositions and persecutions on all front. Considering these, he did very well as a leader compared with every other president/ head of state Nigeria ever had.

If you check Phd is aimed at for self determination, its a status thing.There are very few job that requires o ne to have a Phd.For the likes of you it might be nothing but look at the mess we find ourselves now as Nigerians cos we have a leader with no basic educational requirements.He is pushed from pillar to pole cos he lacks the know how of how to function in a democratic era.By the time he is done the value of our well being would be depreciated by %80
