l will not deliberate on what started the issue on 20th of March but will shade some light on it. l came to work on Monday with my colleagues and we sat outside, cos where l work is an industry company and l work as a manager with two subordinates. The Police came with some Mopol men and they ordered us to come with them to see the DPO but on our way to see him, the Mopol guys came down and was given some cash and that was when we realised that we were being taken to Umuahia. We started making calls but one of the police men was aggressive towards us that we shouldn't make calls but we insisted to let our people know where we are going and my kids need to be taken care of.
When we got to Umuahia from Onitsha, we found out that what we charged against our tenants was what they petitioned against us and to top it all, the case is already in court. Now, why did Nigerian Police arrested us since the case is already in court? Why did they arrest a friend that came to see us even when we told them that he is a new guy we want to employ? Our bail was not even free as we paid high amount of naira to secure our release. Are we not supposed to be invited first and the case is already in court.

There was a woman l met in detention, and she told me that they came by 2:00am to pick the husband but couldn't and they picked her instead and when the husband came, they locked him and still refused to let her go without bailing herself. By the time l left as of 5:13pm yesterday, she was still there and her kids are with a friend.
