These pastorpreneurs will rather talk about prosperity and neglect the suffering the Bible rather emphasized

In fact some ministers sees poor christians n those who suffer as offenders of God that's why they are suffering..They believed that if your relationship with God is intact, you don't need to suffer for anything.

The only way the Bible makes sense is if we conclude that god is a raving lunatic whose greatest thrill comes from human suffering. Its only when christians try to claim that "god is good" or "god loves us" that the story gets ridiculous.

This is supposedly a being that KNOWS EVERYTHING and has INFINITE POWER. Yet he stands by and watches every time a child is molested and does NOTHING to stop it. Does he strike the molester dead on the spot? No. Does he send a cop? No. Does he do ANYTHING to prevent it? No. Even though he could help the child with less than the blink of his almighty eye. Why? He can't say he didn't know. And he can't say he couldn't do anything about it, right? So he must ALLOW IT because HE LIKES IT!

The same with starving children and disease. Its entertainment for him. And even though he could change it all, with less effort than we could change the channel on our TV, he refuses to reach for the remote. Instead he'll just reach for a shotgun and blow a hole through the screen. YEE HAW!

This is one sick god we've got here. He loves human suffering so very much that he just couldn't get enough of it in this world. So he had to create a place of ETERNAL TORTURE so he could REALLY get off! And does he send people there who have done horrible things they need to be punished for? No, he forgives all of that. He only sends people who don't believe a story that says that the creator of all things is such a horrible monster that he actually created a place of ETERNAL TORTURE. If you think god is better than that you go to Hell.

Now reading the Bible what does it say Satan's big crime was? His ego. He thought he could do a better job than god. But looking at the world around us how wrong could he have been? Anybody could do a better job than this raving lunatic of a god. The christian god is just about what you could expect if the Joker from Batman had infinite power.

You didn't mention the most important verse of all.

James 1: 2 Profiting from Trials 2 My brethren , count it all joy when you fall into various trials ,

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

4 But let patience have its perfect work , that you may be perfect and complete , lacking nothing.

I don't want to suffer I want to be rich and enjoy life make money and take care of the people that made me who I am today. The apostles already suffered I'm not an apostle. Re: What does the Bible says about Christian suffering, should a Christian suffer??? by Nobody: 11:49am On Oct 01, 2017
Some situations come in life to glorify God. Being a Christian does not mean trials an tribulations won't come. 1st pet 5:10. After, ye have suffered awhile. It is only when the suffering exceeds it's while that becomes an oppression of the devil. For instance, the isrealites were to spend 400 years but they had 40 years after. Thats an oppresion. The initial 400 was to glorify God. So we should understand the difference btw God wanting to Glorify himself in our situation and an oppresion!

Well, I seem to be interested in the way you responded to the issue at hand. If you want to be content as an indicter finding faults with everything, or a seeker for truth, it all rests with you. Instead of seeking genuinely for truth, do not out of your vanity assume an air Of importance by spreading venomous bile out of your supposed knowledge.

I think the fault actually lies with those who portray God as an arbitrary Being. The being called God is not at all complex, wierd, mysterious, or irrational as depicted in numerous vain stories.

Consider a child who does not understand the language of its parent, what would become of such child? If a human creature does not understand the language of its creator, and, out of pride and arrogance, he does not wish to learn the language which is to help him navigate his journey in life, what would become of such a wilfully stubborn creature? Suffering, pain, distress and sorrow.

Our understanding of everything is based solely on our levels of inner maturity. God is simple, lucid and can be easily understood by anyone who wishes to. He does not wish anyone to suffer. Otherwise he would not be a just loving God. But how does suffering come about? Why is the omniscient God allowing all these 'evil' things to go on.

Man has been given the power to create 'forms' on his own through the gift of his freewill. This also goes with responsibility. Where there is no freedom of decision there can be no responsibility. Through vanity man has for thousand of years put form of ignoble features into creation and must reap the consequences of his decisions. The law says you reap what you sow. This may take several earth-life to completely expiate all your karmic burden.

This, Man created heaven or hell himself.

Just as a single action may bring about heavy burden of guilt, so also a simple action or thoughts of love can bring redemption. There are laws put in place operating and maintaining this creation. We, also are products of this creation and are thus subject to these laws. Nothing arbitrary. God does not concern himself with how man fares on earth.

If out of ignorance you act in contrary to the laws of nature, you must bring about a balance to it. Then you are free of the guilt. This earth is a school. Until you learn the spiritual lessons to mature your spirit, thereby cultivating the fruit of the spirit, you will always come back to go through the bitter process of learning.

Many Christians today do not want to be associated with suffering of any kind, wether it's a body suffering, or financial needs or whatever, they belong to enjoyment age where the most high God Almighty must provide Everything for them if indeed he is real and true. They always put God Almighty to the test saying words like if you are the most high God provide this for me,heal my body and free me from any predicament.

Ignorant of the fact that suffering work for us a great weight of glory. I have compiled scriptural references about Christian suffering

Acts 5:41
Verse Concepts
So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name.

Acts 9:16
Verse Concepts
for I will show Paul how much he must suffer for My name's sake."

Romans 8:17
Verse Concepts
and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Romans 8:36
Verse Concepts
Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED."

2 Corinthians 1:7
Verse Concepts
and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort.

2 Corinthians 11:23
Verse Concepts
Are they servants of Christ?--I speak as if insane--I more so; in far more labors, in far more imprisonments, beaten times without number, often in danger of death.

Philippians 3:10
Verse Concepts
that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;

2 Timothy 2:12
Verse Concepts
If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He also will deny us;

Hebrews 11:25
Verse Concepts
choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,

James 5:10
Verse Concepts
As an example, brethren, of suffering and patience, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.

1 Peter 2:20
Verse Concepts
For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.

1 Peter 3:14
Verse Concepts
But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed AND DO NOT FEAR THEIR INTIMIDATION, AND DO NOT BE TROUBLED,

1 Peter 4:16
Verse Concepts
but if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name.

1 Peter 5:10
Verse Concepts
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

Matthew 5:11
Verse Concepts
"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.

Matthew 10:22
Verse Concepts
"You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

Matthew 10:39
Verse Concepts
"He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.

Matthew 19:29
Verse Concepts
"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms for My name's sake, will receive many times as much, and will inherit eternal life.

1 Corinthians 4:10
Verse Concepts
We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are prudent in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor.

2 Corinthians 4:5
Verse Concepts
For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake.

2 Corinthians 4:11
Verse Concepts
For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

2 Corinthians 12:10
Verse Concepts
Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Philippians 1:29
Verse Concepts
For to you it has been granted for Christ's sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

Thanks bro. Your thread comforted the faith of many
