The funny thing is I thought that person was Tanjiro's dad too. But when I read the Hashira's meeting in the manga, I knew it couldn't be him. That episode in the anime should have made it clear.

The author does a lot of foreshadowing, dropping hints here and there, so people can even predict future events in the show. Some things won't even be explicitly stated.

Yeah that's thing tho. Sometimes fights can be hella confusing in manga e.g MHA. Even worse if you're reading from right to left.

Actually, it's not. Reading manga or any comics, you have to take in the whole visual spectacle and not just the words. Which is why I suck at reading them. I'm usually in a rush and end up missing a lot of subtle vital information on the page.
