Have you had a traumatic experience that’s left you struggling to cope in certain areas of life?

Have you been raped, physically or sexually abused? Sexually harassed or molested? Been the victim of domestic violence?

We’d like YOU to share YOUR story. www.shareanonymousng.com

Sharing your story takes courage, but understand that what you are doing is absolutely amazing. You’re making it safe for others to come forward and bringing the problem of sexual violence to light by keeping this very important conversation going.

I cannot offer you professional advice on how to handle the very big step you’re about to take, neither can I offer you a quick fix for your struggles, but rather, a community.

Shareanonymousng offers a platform where we can all share and support one another. www.shareanonymousng.com

In the task of healing, each survivor must find her/his own way to restore a sense of connection with the wider community. The survivors who recover most successfully are those who discover some meaning in their experience that transcends the limits of personal tragedy. Most commonly by joining with others in social action, creating meaning is key. Trauma disrupts so many things: for example in childhood trauma, the child’s developing sense of self, the ability to find security in relationship, and the belief in a safe and just world. Connecting with a larger, supportive, and validating community can be powerfully healing.

This is where Shareanonymousng.com comes in, our aim is to end the loneliness, silence and secrecy that often surround these experiences by inviting everyone to share freely and openly. I realized that, to have any chance of healing from trauma, there has to be an established relationship that is built on understanding and, most of all, trust. That is why we're committed to protecting the privacy of the survivors and those close to them when they do share their story, and there is no better way to gain understanding than by being a part of a community of people with like experiences.

Do join us. Here, you're welcome.
