Hope Good Friday was fine as well!

I found this hard to believe but I just had to face it!

It's a common word among all of us, and even abroad. I have as well heard it in several movies.

Let me cut you some stories sha;

We are used to using sentences like, you are never serious, you are so unserious, you are very unserious and etc, mostly for people who are extremely funny or those guys who don't take school serious.

I was a big fan of these sentences until one day! I wanted to type it on my android to a friend while chatting, my android refused!

I was like: this is impossible, the auto-correct had failed for the first time!

I went further to the dictionary, I didn't see it, I said the dictionary was too small. I went to the online dictionary before I finally succumbed!

SO! IN A NUTSHELL!

These words unserious, unseriousness, unseriously are words that we use but in truth aren't English words.

Serious exists, but it's antonym is with the prefix "un".

Being a word I use often, I had to find a replacement fast.

From my findings, I found this appropriate word:

The so-called unserious can be expressed using the word "flippant"

By extension, unseriousness can be expressed using the word "flippancy"

And unseriously can be expressed using the word "flippantly"

APPROPRIATE SENTENCES INCLUDE:

* You are never serious
* You are not serious
* You are so flippant
* This your attitude is just flippancy
* The matter was handled flippantly by the boss
* And etc!

In truth, it'll take quite some time to stop saying that word "unserious," I discovered this truth over six months ago but still mistakenly say it at times, I only have learnt to stop typing it! Not to worry though; we'll all get to get used to stop saying it soon!
