I have been using IDM for a while of recent when ever I want to download any file format I get this error, can anyone here tell me how to go about it or what exactly causes this error?

You could try updating to the latest version, that might take care of it. haven't seen this type of error before so that's the first thing that comes to mind.

U can re-install d idm again it solved mine.[color=#006600][/color]

Open up IDM, Click Help, About Should be Internet download manager version 5.16

I am 100% certain you are using this version . like the previous tec has suggested

reinstall the software and your problem should be solve. make sure you uninstall

the previous one so you can be ready for new install http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/
