The words; saved and realized, shouldn't be used in the first place because there was nothing like that. This money in was gotten from the frozen accounts of MDAs. I work with one the government agencies and all the accounts belonging to our state offices were frozen since their TSA implementation took off. I work in Lagos state office, and we the staff run the office on our own since two years ago because no money from government has entered our office for the running costs . We contribute money to buy fuel, paper, seminars, training, transportations for official duties, etc. Our cleaners have not been paid for more than twelve months since they are being paid from the sane money which they are supposed to send every quarter for the running of the office.
In conclusion, if you not in the system you will not understand. 90% of the news they give everyday are just propaganda. . They are deceiving themselves.

How's GEJ linked to TSA? A little education; The TSA has always been enshrined in our constitution but was never implemented until this administration! I guess u r referring to BVN not TSA!

On record, TSA was on under GEJ but was not 100% implemented knowing the implication of the instant 100% implementation. But Buhari entered and never considered a step-by-step implementation, and went 100% irrespective of the counter advices.

Am sure you do not have anybody in Fed school or so where you need to pay through remita. You would have understood the need for a gradual implementation. Even when you are paying N500 separate fee, you pay through remita, and the site is always up and down because they were never ready for such number of users. Payments were delayed, at times money were spent on other things, resources wasted, man hours lost, monies lost or stolen and so on.

Buhari doesn't have any iota of economic sense, and due to his military background and primitive nature, he has also refused to surround himself with the fastest brains and fingers so numerous in this country.

Hmmm, some of u wailers ehnn!!! I guess u don't know dat Nigeria is not d only country facing recession. Der are about 11countries in full time recession wit more countries heading towards recession. Now d funny thing about those countries in full fledged recession is dat 8 of dem are Oil producing nation grin. Those countries made so much money during d oil boom while d UAEs , Saudi Arabia were busy saving and diversifying, we were busy looting, throwing owambe grin .
Only d duumb or muumu will blame PMB for our economical woes cos in d first place our economy wasn't doing fine.
Our economy was only a reacting to d price of crude oil boom during GEJ time and as soon as d price of crude fell, our economy nose dived, dat 26 states cudn't pay basic salaries. We shud be grateful dat God in his infinite wisdom gave us PMB, if not we for be like Venezuela, Brazil n Co. wit d way some PDP now APC looters were stealing in dollar. @least wit PMB on sit d looting don reduce (I no talk say e don stop o grin)

Thank you for repeating this, as l am sure this "hateful" folks have read and know the truth but their hatred is too overriding to their mental faculty.
For a country that does not have stable electricity, produces almost nothing and imports almost everything (including the most basic things like tooth pick!), for a country where Factories are always being replaced with House of Worship, for a country where looting is in the "billions", for a country that depends on one product for survival (crude oil) and yet the sales from such product is stolen at every opportunity, it is just the grace of God that we are even still called a country because Somalia was not as bad as this!

Unfortunately, a prophet is never appreciated in his country! PMB is always "coming" when economic collapse is very imminent. The NPN ruined this country from 1978 to 1983
then Buhari came with Idiagbon and salvaged it before the same criminals colluded and over-thre his Govt and took us back into austerity and structural Adjustment Programme (SAP).

Now, Politicians, APC but especially PDP, have almost ruined this country again and Nigerians had to call on Buhari, with Osinbajo a second time, to come to the rescue! shocked angry

Buhari is far from perfect, his health and age is even a bigger disadvantage at this point, he has "internal criminals", a.k.a "Cabals" to contend with but l an sure that these "hateful" people, in their inner mind, are under no illusion at what would have happened by now, if we had continued with what Jonathan-led PDP was doing to this country.

Some of them are fully aware of this but they are so frustrated that nothing works for them. Imagine, they want Bubu to change Nigeria to Paris within 2 yrs with the dwindling govt revenue. Something that could not be achieved in 6 yrs with very high govt income coupled with the depletion of Foreign Reserve.

Economically viable in an economy that is virtually dead? Hilarious.

An economy where the price you buy an item today is vastly different from what it will be next week.
An economy where inflation is in double digits.
An economy foreign investors have fled.
An economy with companies folding up and the labour market continually rising.

Those who work the work see opportunities in every happening but those who have taken complaint as hobby will never ever imagine there exist any opportunity even if it is presented to then in a lay man's language.

if prices are going higher like in food stuff it is an opportunity for you to key into the value chain and get your own share.
If foreign investors are leaving it is an opportunity for you to key in, by the way foreign investors are here primarily to make money not to build your economy. when the Chinese that are coming here for instance to export our cassava, ginger and other raw materials leave, then key in and start a small export business in the area they are leaving.

Please stop wasting a lot of your time in naira land posting complaints and frustration. Some of us only come here after making our money everyday and only if we don't have anything doing.

Habitual complainants have 4 chronic infections .
1. lack of critical thinking
2. Inability to identify opportunities
3. fear of the unknown
4. Chronic laziness.
If you have such infections, well sorry, is like what doctors called damnation.

U r right the d wrong deeds of past administrations has multiplying effect on the current economic situation of the country that includes lack of diversification, unfortunately since PMb came in, he has not made any significant effort on that, instead been busy searching oil in the north.
Two year down the line we are yet to see the blue print of his economic diversification. Even the recession management he is not proactive about, and Nigerians are ultimately bearing the brunt, without succour on sight.
If PMb has good plans Nigerians should be able to feel, and not this case of water everywhere, and yet no drop to drink. It is just like farmer with well stocked yam barn, and his children are dying of hunger. Nigerian are already tired of hearing these figures, and the international communities are laughing.

GEJ ruled from 2009 till 2015, so it would take Baba or any other person, 50 years To restore Nigeria to her pre-2009 position??

Those who bought the currency at the fraction you stated and did not make it are suffering from the first infections of the habitual complainants (lack of critical thinking) when it comes to investment such like currency trading, you buy or sell when it is the right time not just because people are buying or selling and you rush and do same ,NO. sorry bros you unknowingly touched my field, I trade forex. And as I stated before, I only come here after making my money. I made money today because the GBP/USD traded up, and I new the exact time to enter and exit the market, that is critical thinking and analysis.

Crude price is currently above $50 which is more than what was budgeted, yet Nigerians are not feel any positive impact. Obj ran this country with less than $30 per barrel, managed the effect of the global economic crisis without plunging Nigeria to this type of unprecedented hardship. What we have now is offshoot of bad economic decisions that are not peoples' friendly.
