Buying land in satellite towns is very cheap.
It is bether to build to your tastes especially if you are going to live there.

Already built houses for sale are highly inflated and is always@ a fixed price.But will save you more when you build youself,also Pade room in taste or Quality of materials you need for your building.

If you have the money, then building is better because you can build the house according to your taste. The only downside of building is that you may not get a favourable location whereas you can buy a house in any location.
