Wow Anyway It Is, Atleast For The Past 25 Years I Have Been Taking Palm Oil Without Any Hygienous Infects So I Don't Care, Well Do You Mind Going To A Local Bread Factory To See How It Is Produced? Before I Can Say Anything Further Just Visit One And Let Me Know, It Is Worst Than This

you are right. There is no reason to be overtly dramatic about this. All the oil lumps collected as shown in the photos will be subjected to thorough heating after which the pure oil completely separates itself from whatever impurities there is. Friends, consume your palm oil without fear of getting infected through it...

Oil produced this way remains the best. ..the mechanized one has an odd taste. ..but then the environment should be kept clean

Please oil tastes better if it is processed early after the palm bunches are harvested, but it will produce less quantity of oil. The longer the palm fruits are kept before processing the less the taste but more oil is gotten from it.

This is a National shame. By now our researchers should have developed rural based manual appropriate technology for this production process.
For everyone that has a stake with science and engineering and political decision making, I submit this is shameful.

It is not produced like this in the South East. Here is pictures of a typical oil mill in my area of Abia.

This primitive method was still in use as recent as the1980s in south East Nigeria, what the hell are you guys talking about... So you have never heard of the term " Izo Akwu" done in long carved boat like wooden mortars.. Sure the practice is no longer in use in most places, but I can bet you there are still villages practicing this..

You lie. You are not from the south east.
