There are 2 salient points to be noted here:

1. The Bishop/pastor living a wrong life of luxury, which in my opinion should not be. Jesus taught us to put others first, therefore, I expect the pastor to put charity work ahead of the luxury life he is living and not extorting his members to make riches, that amounts to stealing from the house of God and his members for his own selfish interest.

2. I see nothing wrong in the building of a school and the so called school fees. Education is expensive, think of the staff/lecturers (and other operating cost) they will be paying on a monthly basis, Remember that fees in higher institution is paid only once and not thrice as obtained in secondary/primary schools.

Thing is, wherever he got the money from, whether tithe or offering....there is only that much it can cover.

Running a university is a process costing several hundreds of millions of naira yearly.It can't just be sustained on tithes and offerings.

We dont need more universities. We need to expand, improve the capacity of existing ones both private and public to enhance quality of teaching and research so that we churn out graduates that are ready to compete with other graduates from other climes.
Recently Imo SG established a new university when IMSU has problems with facilites and accreditation. This is senseless
Up on d whole universities springing up like mushroom we still ve problems with skilled manpower. That is y u have expatriate staff here and there cos we talk of quantity not quality
