I was at a clients how recently. It was a twin Terrance house built on half plot. But it was now two stories or sud I say two floors each. Space for drive in was created in front with two gates side by side. Get a good architect..you cud rent out the other Terrance house for the price of renting out two two bedrooms. And that also means a reasonable tenant.

To be sincere with you, anything you desire can be built on the plot but the type of structure you erect on it will determine the level of comfort you will experience therein. So my suggestion is to have a 2 or 3-bedroom bungalow for a proper setbacks and landscape of your building or build a lettable shopping complex if you have it at a busy area..... Your comfort is my concern... PROUDLY ARCHITECT

you can build a 3 bedroom with a parking space, look for a good architect for a good drawing plan, i build mine also in a 1/2 plot, but my regret now is that i should have build a mini duplex. You can build a mini duplex if houses withing the area.

Pls what did you have in mind to build before buying the land? Or you just bought the land sha! Its not an offence to ask question but some questions are not necessary. This is what you should have asked before buying and the advise given to you would have guided you into what to do, but asking after buying is not necessary cos you already have an answer.
Assuming you are now told here that your half plot cannot contain your structure, what will you do? This is my personal opinion tho.

I designed this on a plot smaller than yours ...it's a 4 bedroom duplex with enough parking space in front and there's still space behind the building...

What you can do with your plot is limitless .. you just need the right minds to work with

Although, i don't have the funds to develop it now, but I want to just start, so that anytime I have any little money I can do one or two things gradually on it. Sir, the land area matters and there are prescribed minimum dimensions for your Schedule of accomodation...
For example someone who builds a 4 bedroom bungalow on a half plot of land probably has small rooms, small convinences, or small lounge.

However, In architecture almost nothing is impossible.
Get a good architect and plan with him....

You can build any number of rooms, but you will have to be building up.
