THE TRUE WOMAN

This is a woman of essence and courage.
Courage in the face of danger.
Danger of allowing her husband depart to answer to the clarion call.
Whatever the price or odd, he must depart for combat.
Either precarious or not, good or bad.
She must wait; endure without the love and affections of her husband.
She must pray hard at home for the battle to be won by her husband with a celestial dexterity and his safe return.
On the survivors' return he must appreciate her for the help she rendered either directly or indirectly during his darkest hours in combat.
But if the battle is lost; the salt from his body added to that of the earth and the dust from his bones gone with the wind.
She must take heart as it is of the nature of the job.
She will now learn to live without him for the rest of her days, hoping to see him again in a place where there will be no mortar exploding, artillery guns smoking, where there will be no iron birds in the sky to release their enigmatic eggs.
A place they will be to part no more.[\left]
