Psalm 91. Its mi favorite because it is a very powerful psalm, especially against the enemies. I remember a very long time ago, in Nigeria, I had a dream that I was amongst a lot of people downstairs. So everyone were told to go upstairs into a building one after the other. All those that went died on the way. When it was my turn, I stepped onto the first floor and I saw vultures all around trying to kill me. Suddenly, I started reading psalm 91 in the dream, all the vultures began to fall and die, until I got to the topmost top; then I woke up. A week after, I received my American green card. I am now a citizen of the U.S doing great. I mean, the psalm is so powerful. Mi dad made sure I and mi siblings learnt psalm 91,3, 23, 24, 121 and 1 by heart when we were between 10-12years old. 1 Like |

~Psalm 124~ IF IT HAD NOT BEEN THE LORD. . . . . . . . If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: Then the proud waters had gone over our soul Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth. |

Re: Favourite Psalm by Nobody: 8:05pm On Jan 14, 2010 |
psalm 1:1-3 1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. 3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. this psalm is like a tag on my forefinger always reminding me to be honest in this dishonest system. God doesn't forsake an honest man. i can proudly say that genuine prosperity is on my side. believe me everything i do is always successful (not those stealing prosperity pastors' type. i don't even go to church) 1 Like |
