Ps 139:1-18 , NIV , be blessed ,
1 O LORD , you have searched me
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you know it completely, O LORD .

5 You hem me in-behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, F222 you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.

11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,"
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

17 How precious to F223 me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When I awake,
I am still with you.

Psalm 91. Its mi favorite because it is a very powerful psalm, especially against the enemies. I remember a very long time ago,  in Nigeria, I had a dream that I was amongst a lot of people downstairs. So everyone were told to go upstairs into a building one after the other. All those that went died on the way. When it was my turn, I stepped onto the first floor and I saw vultures all around trying to kill me. Suddenly, I started reading psalm 91 in the dream, all the vultures began to fall and die, until I got to the topmost top; then I woke up. A week after, I received my American green card. I am now a citizen of the U.S doing great. I mean, the psalm is so powerful. Mi dad made sure I and mi siblings learnt psalm 91,3, 23, 24, 121 and 1 by heart when we were between 10-12years old.

~Psalm 124~   IF IT HAD NOT BEEN THE LORD. . . . . . . .

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;
If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
Then the proud waters had gone over our soul
Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth
Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Re: Favourite Psalm by Nobody: 8:05pm On Jan 14, 2010
psalm 1:1-3

1 Blessed is the man
      who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
      or stand in the way of sinners
      or sit in the seat of mockers.

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
      and on his law he meditates day and night.

3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
      which yields its fruit in season
      and whose leaf does not wither.
      Whatever he does prospers.

this psalm is like a tag on my forefinger always reminding me to be honest in this dishonest system.
God doesn't forsake an honest man. i can proudly say that genuine prosperity is on my side. believe me everything i do is always successful (not those stealing prosperity pastors' type. i don't even go to church)
