The pastor today mentioned that "the wages of sin is death". He was preaching about Jonah and Nineveh story. As a thinking man, I realized that the only thing that is sure in life (rich or poor; religious or not; black or white) is death. So why do christianity attached sin to death? When death is only what's promised and sure in life.

Secondly, the worse death that ever happens to anyone is the spiritual death, which means separation from your creator. Spiritual death is as a result of sin. Do you know that a sinner is a dead man, cos he is disconnected from his maker. So the death refereed in that your quote is spiritual not physical. ..... Fixed?

Finally,physical death means reunion with ur creator, for the righteous. Christians don't die in the actual sense of the word(death), rather we sleep in the Lord.
