I laugh in Swahili at your ignorance.

Malaysia which iis famous for its highly developed agricultural sector and which many countries would like to eminate has an agricultural sector that accounts for only 12% of its GDP. Malaysia has only 20million people and its only an upper middle income economy.

A matured and enlightened response with humility bestows respect on the one who delivers it.

Kindly mention ONE food item that is NOT the product of agriculture, either directly of indirectly, and then we can launch into a scholarly debate on GDP and all that other fun stuff, Mr. Technology.

Thank you in advance for your explanation, and while you are at it, kindly explain the meaning of the word "EMINATE" that I have taken the liberty of highlighting in your response above. I could not locate that strange word in any English dictionary, so perhaps it is a Swahili word, given that you claim to speak that language.

Good deal sir, and thanks for confirming you now understand that with the notable exception of sea-harvested fish, and meat derived from animals hunted in the wild with non-sustainable methods , ALL food consumed by human beings originates from agriculture.

This is another avenue to siphon/steal government money. You don't need expatriates for tree planting

The Chinese are the last people on earth that should be entrusted to manage natural resources in Africa, given their abysmal record in Ghana where their gold mining activities have poisoned numerous rivers and groundwater supplies, and in the Congo, where Chinese logging companies are destroying ancient tropical rain-forest at a truly alarming rate, as they plunder African hardwoods for export to China.

The Chinese are currently swarming all over the entire length of Nigeria's coastline with massive trawlers as we speak , plundering the fishing stock beyond internationally acceptable levels. Our govt does nothing beyond taking the odd bribe here and there.

I maintain that Ibn Battuta was accurate in his character assessment of the black man

Is that the reason your destiny is depressed?

Calm down - your dad is likely to be my employee.

I asked that question to help you figure out why failure had been your middle-name.

by the way, keep off this thread - not for airheads.

Na wao! Gmelina trees that are in almost every primary school in the east? 250mil per hectare? Nigerians need to rise up. Wake up from slumber.
