Nigeria technology community disruption is increasing by the day. The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) has announces the #PEBECHack for techies in Nigeria. The event will take place in Lagos on 23rd and 24th June, 2017.

The aim of the event is to provides a platform that will solve the problems between government policies, processes and regulations, including the ease of doing business.

At the end of the event, Hackathons, who were able to provide the best solutions will go home with the some of N1.5 million. The first prize goes home with N1,000,000 second with N300,000 and third prize is N200,000.

According to a press announcement, the first #PEBECHack will focus on how to develop tools for MDAs (Ministries, Departments and Agencies) that will ensure 'accountability and transparency.'

The second stage of the program is to develop 'service management solution' for citizens to lay complaints, provide feedback, monitor and whistle blowing about the quality of services provided by the Federal government.
