Gov Wike Stop Patronizing Political Contractors In Road Construction by gieala: 3:10pm On May 30, 2017
Gov Wike enjoys the massive support from Rivers state people but that should not be a room for his project to be of bad quality and not durable, I try as much as i can not to compare him with Ameachi in terms of project delivery. But to be sincere, Ameachi did not construct too many roads as expected but the once he did was of very high quality with underground drainage system and walking pavement.

I am totally disappointed in wike in this road because the road is in my LGA, someone should please tell him to stop patronizing his political allies in awarding contracts to them.

The construction of this road; Eleme-Igbo-Chokocho road (in Etche Local Government Area) was finished in December 2016, and the contractor was WE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, owned by a PDP chieftain from the area.

In less than few months, the road is already in bad state with a very narrow gutter that cannot hold so much water knowing the high rainfall in Rivers State. And we dont even know how much this poorly built road cost because the state government wont make their budget for two years open for everyone to see.
