Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane claims Cristiano Ronaldo is a better player than he ever was. Zidane will hope Ronaldo can lead Real to back to back Champions League triumphs against Juventus in Cardiff on Saturday night. When asked at a pre-match press conference who would have been better had the two men played in the same era, legendary French forward Zidane said:

‘Ronaldo, no doubt. He scores goals and that’s most important. I used to play quite well but scoring goals was not my speciality. I was better at assists. I scored some important goals but not as many as him.’

Ronaldo has scored 49 goals for club and country this season and registered hat-tricks in both the Champions League quarter and semi finals. Zidane represented both Real and Juventus during a stellar playing career.

Football is all about goals..so ronaldo in goal scoring is better than Zidane though not as technically creative as him.
