Residence Permit

Once you arrive in the country, you will be required to register with the local Alien Registration Office within two weeks of arrival.Note that you are only applying for a residence permit for study purposes. The documents you will need to submit will be similar to the ones you used for student visa application.

-Proof of private or public health insurance.

-Certificate of enrolment from your institution.

-Proof of sufficient finances.

-Valid passport.

-Current visa if you possess one.

-Certificate of health(if applicable)

-Your tenancy agreement (if applicable)

-Biometric passport photos(if applicable)

-Residence permit fee.

This residence permit is valid for two years and will initially cost $120. A fee of $80 is collected for subsequent renewals. Note that students from the EU/EEA(Including Norway, Liecteinstan, Iceland, Switzerland, Iceland) dont need to apply for a residence permit but should register with the local registration centre.
