1. On May 31st 2017, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved an investment case made by the Federal Ministry of Health for vaccines production in Nigeria. 2. The vaccines, which will be manufactured in Joint Venture collaboration between the Federal Government of Nigeria and May & Baker Nigeria PLC, will see a 49% and 51% ownership, with a 3:4 board membership composition respectively. 3. The Joint Venture will facilitate production of basic vaccines that Nigeria needs between 2017 and 2021; and more advanced vaccines from 2021. 4. The company will have an initial capital of N100m (about $328,515). 5. Final agreements between the Federal Government and May & Baker Nigeria PLC will be signed within the next two weeks. 6. This initiative is not Nigeria’s first attempt at local vaccines production. Between 1940 and 1991, Nigeria not only produced vaccines for local use, but also exported to neighboring countries like Cameroon and Central Africa Republic (CAR). 7. The Federal Government aims to protect citizens, especially children; and increase revenue through this investment in local vaccines production. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

So many good long term developments to give Nigeria a solid foundation for local production are currently being put in place by this adminstration. But guess what? Nigerians don't like long term developments, they want to have everything good now now now! If you have to empty the purse like Gej just to keep them happy at the moment, so be it. I hope we change our mentality for good. 10 Likes |

Shior. Local vaccine production they say; but contract is given to a foreign owned company. Make una dey there dey decieve una self. That the product is produced inside Nigeria is not the same thing as Nigerians in a Nigerian owned pharma produced it. |

The majority of Africans and deep reasoning are enemies, you don't for any reason depend on another race for the advancement of yours. You people expect the authority to do everything for you! But in reality the authority and its institutions aren't here for us to enjoy! They are here to plunder us When are we all gonna realise The governments and its institutions, religion included aren't for the advancement of our species. Think you people Think! The government will lie to you because it keeps the status quo The religions will lie to you because it feeds on your fears and it also makes you docile to reality The school is there to teach you how to conform with the society and what specifically to know. The schools don't teach about the reality of life, rather it disonforms!!!! There are more reports of vaccines containing mercury and cancer causing substances These people openly state they want to depopulate us and yet our governments partner with them? Bill Gates on many interview has affirmed times without number the necessity to depopulate. If the richest man in the world is all about this, Why are we partnering with them? Why is it so hard for the majority to see this reality?
