Chris Ngige and his Principle will pretend as if the don't no that it's their poor economy policies that has landed us here... Its only the "big firms" sack we get to read about, just imagine how many staffs in SME across the country that have lost their jobs since last year. No wonder 800,000 plus has already applied for N-power in less than 9 days.

Don't post trash. It's not Julius Berger. It's Berger Paints. Those are two different companies.

People just come to the internet and post anything they like.

people are loosing their job every day why some persons are still standing with buhari, it is time we make the change, stop voting those old people that has been in power before, let us stand up and stop surporting this old men.they have nothing to offer instead they steal the country dry. All the youth, men, women should correct the mistake of 2015, Jonathan was not good but he was better than buhari, at least we did not witness high rate of job lost during his tenure. curruption now has not stop, they are looting more and more each day. price of commodity are rising how will they take care of their love ones who depend on them.

Hmmmmmmm......JBN do embark on routine Redundancy especially during raining season since 70% of their jobs are road construction. But in present regime, the company is finding it difficult to cope with the current state of our country. Most of the contract awarded to the company, government have not release money to them,eg.Ikot Ekpene-Uyo-Calabar Road which government had earmarked about 54.1 Billion Naira for since about two months ago.Presently, JBN are undertaking Truck drivers test in readiness for commencing any project the Federal Government will release money for. In 2016 Budget, about 13 billion was said to be signed for the 2nd Niger Bridge, but the said money was not being released to the company. The Company Major jobs now are in Rivers State And about 19 km road in Akwa Ibom State. Lagos-Shagamu road has been closed due to lack of fund to continue with the job. Available record shows that Government owed the Company over 300 billion Naira for Contract they've executed. So nobody should blame Julius Berger for Laying off some of their workers. It's the fault of the government in power. The company can't keep man power when there's no work on ground for them to do.Government need to square up and release fund to the company so that they should go back to various work sites and reemploy their laid off staff.

I made inquiries and found out that the 120 staff laid off are from their main yard at mile 2( Euro 65), d initial plan was to shut down their sagamu site by mnth end but seems like FG is trying to pacify dem. They have close to 600 staff at that site alone.

The thing is now a days jb cuts down even on expatriates sef. ....... Apart from government pacifying them, government also has eyes on them over activities that do not confirm to laid down rules ..

You have a point but jb has defrauded of this country billions over .there wercontracts that were awarded and paid for in past in which they kept quiet till el rufai came on board ,summoned and gave them warning eg the expansion of airport road whixh they of course later did
They are fond of over charging us I remember when that was raised when it was discovered what they did on a particular. Project they later came out to claim typographic error.

So if weowe. Then they should be patience they have gained more from us..in their. Country they are not even top 20 construction and besides we need to give opportunities to our own indigenous construction ,this is also one of reasons y jb is not making money like before
