Sometimes people need a rude awakening to make crucial decisions, and the guy you quoted provided that. Government jobs are overrated these days.
No mind the yeye herdman!

like sort with foodstuff? Try and follow the origin of the convo.

You need be there to know...btw sorting is not legalized as you might want to think...one can lose his 10k a month job while at it..So how much will one charge for sorting when its not at jackpot runs like in the south. The juice doesnt worth the squeeze.
sorting is not legal anywhere but it goes on anyway. My point is that any student who don't read will somehow find the cash to sort.

Recession not withstanding

Your idea of an 'idea' is to subject students to extortion or pay for play. Your concept of poverty is warped. Wealth creation is about value creation in a sustainable and legal way. Anything that deviates from this is financial crime. Mind you, all over the world, lecturers (or professors) are not known for being rich, they're upper middle class at best. Pretty sure OP will be content with salary after completing the transition from ad hoc staff to permanent position.

First, asking students to pay for handout is not extortion. Didn't you use textbooks in secondary? Is it because they were not written by your secondary teachers, so you don't see that one as extortion?

wealth creation is about value creation in a sustainable and legal way, yes I agree. Now tell me how that school is creating wealth with 10k peanut for ad hoc staff? How is that sustainable when the school can't employ permanent staff? Tell me, is that legal?
