I have been wondering if there is any HND certificate holder who is studying masters Directly abroad without PGD or pre-masters. I really need your advice. I hold an HND cert. from a federal polytechnic in Nigeria with a distinction in electrical engineering and I am willing to continue my studies abroad. 1 Like |

Adeolaraji: Guy, if you still dey young...Go and start afresh in Germany, obtaining a Bachelor degree in Engineering field (God on your side, Germo na baba for that aspect). Unfortunately, your HND qualifies you for Bachelors but not Masters. Or, with your HND Dinstinction, try and obtain a Bachelors in Naija, then fly abroad for Masters...My 50kobo bye 8 Likes |

Yes you can. Many Unis abroad accept HND for Masters. It's mainly in Nigeria a lot of restrictions and descriminations come up. Try Finland, Spain, Germany, France and even some UK unis 1 Like |

pato405:Germany, UK & France do not accept sir Germany & France accept HND to Year one while UK will accept HND to Top Up to BSC where you will be ask to start frm year two or go for pre master 1 Like |

sure, I had my hnd done in yabatech , and then proceeded to have my Msc done at the university of Hertfordshire UK, but i added one professional certificate to my application , so maybe you should find a professional certification that relates to what you actually want to study for your masters . but tbh try the USA, after your program you still have a year to look for a job, but in UK, you're coming back home immediately after your program.
