Scam Alert: Scammers Giving Fake COOs In Northern Parts Of Nigeria


Some people are using the opportunity of quit notice handed out by coalitions of northern youth to exploit southerners that built houses in the Northern part of Nigeria.
If you build house in northern states, you should be careful about scammers parading themselves around as government agent for certificate of occupancy (COOs.)
Take for instance in Niger state,many people are looking for COOs for many years but they find it difficult to get. Now, some people that claims to be government agent is requesting #40000 for COOs. Sometimes,people use northern name to get it. Because it is difficult for government agencies to approve COOs with southerners' name. To avoid many people falling victim, the affected state governments should investigate the matter to fish out those fraudsters doing this.
The funny part of it is that ,they said that the price will increase next month to #200000. This is a plot to entice people to rush for it.
Don't be fooled. The important questions you have to ask yourself is,why , suddenly COOs coming out easy in the North. why the sudden rush?
Sometimes,i wonder why, Nigerians are so much hatred and wickedness to each other. Nigerians are so wicked that they always use any slightest opportunity to dupe their compatriots.
