In Christianity, it is not based on merit. You do not have to follow all the rules and laws before you're accepted. You're accepted right here and now. Like you've been accepted already at the very beginning no matter what. Your relationship with God is not based on merit but on the merit of Jesus. Even as a sinner, you can have a relationship with God wherever you are, forgiveness is right now.

He said he lives for God not because he wants to gain His acceptance but because he already has it. His relationship with God is not based on his performance of his merit but on the merit of Jesus.

He said in Christianity, relationship with God, is not based on a measured performance and an acceptance at the end of a long history of performing laws.

The focus here is the mode or means to have a relationship with God and not as straight as you put it up there.

Seriously, you guys are so blinded by your own self you can't see the simple obvious error in your arguments and when anybody points to it you "goal shifts".

What law states that a complex being alone can create a complex being? You asked the question who created God because you believe for the creator to created he/it must have been created. And I asked s it a must?

You believe the assumption that God created the universe to be wrong because if it were true we would have an endless chain of creators. Complex beings creates complex beings. But what you failed to understand is that God is the termination point. He is the beginning and the end.

Like some folks said earlier Jack, do you understand the meaning of eternal. I doubt you do. Maybe we should use a more scientific term, do you know what it means to e I N F I N IT E. The beginning IS the END.
